This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the website filtereverything.pro (the “Site”) and the Filter Everything and Filter Everything PRO WordPress plugins (the “Plugins”), how we use it, and the choices you have. The data controller is Sole Proprietor Stepasiuk Andrii Andriiovych, registered in Ukraine (contact details on the right).
1. Information we collect on the Site
Orders and accounts. When you buy a license we collect your name, email address, billing country and, where required for invoicing or tax purposes, your billing address and VAT number. This data is stored in our WooCommerce store and is needed to deliver the license, issue invoices, manage your account and provide support. Order records are kept for as long as Ukrainian accounting and tax law requires.
Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe (including Link) and PayPal. We never receive or store your card number or other payment credentials. The privacy policies of those providers apply to the payment step.
Support and contact. When you open a support ticket, use the contact form or the live chat, we store your message, name and email address so we can answer you and keep a support history for your licenses. Tickets are handled in our help desk (Fluent Support); live chat is provided by Chatway.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type; Clarity may record anonymised session replays). Jetpack Stats provides aggregate page-view counts. These services set cookies and process IP addresses on our behalf.
Advertising. We may use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure our advertising. No personal data is shared with Google beyond what its tags collect.
Server logs. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare keep standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) for security and troubleshooting.
2. Information the Plugins collect
Filter Everything (free version). The free plugin does not collect, store or transmit any data to us or to third parties and works entirely inside your WordPress installation. The only exception is the optional \u00abPlugin notifications\u00bb feature described below, which stays off until you turn it on.
Plugin notifications (optional, both versions). The Plugins can show short notices from us on their own admin screens: security alerts, update warnings, usage tips and occasional offers. While this feature is enabled, the plugin downloads one small public file from our website (https://filtereverything.pro/plugin-feed/messages.json) once a day in a scheduled background task. The request carries no information about your website \u2014 no site address, no cookies, no parameters, and a fixed User-Agent string instead of the WordPress default that would include your site URL. As with any web request, our hosting provider and Cloudflare see the IP address the request comes from and keep it in the standard access logs described in section 1; we do not use it to identify you or your website, and we cannot tell which websites have the feature enabled. The file contains text notices only; which of them, if any, is shown is decided on your own server. In the free version the feature is off until you explicitly agree to it; in the PRO version it is on by default, because the website is already connected to our license server. You can switch it off at any time in Filters \u2192 Settings \u2192 Other \u2192 \u00abPlugin notifications\u00bb; the scheduled task and the downloaded file are then removed and no further requests are made.
Filter Everything PRO (license activation and updates). To verify your license and deliver updates, the PRO plugin sends the following to our license server (connect.filtereverything.pro):
- your website URL,
- your license key,
- the installed plugin version and, for compatibility checks, your WordPress and WooCommerce versions.
This happens when you activate the license, periodically to confirm it is still valid, and when WordPress checks for updates. We store the website URL and activation time against the license so you can manage your sites from your account. We do not receive any information about your store, your products, your orders or your customers.
Your visitors. The Plugins do not set tracking cookies and do not send any data about your website visitors to us or to anyone else. Filter URLs and selections are processed on your own server.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to deliver and support the products you buy, to prevent license misuse, to improve the Site and the Plugins, to send transactional emails (order confirmations, license and renewal notices) and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run the business: payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), hosting, CDN and email providers, the analytics and chat providers named above, and our help desk software. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service. We may disclose data when required by law.
5. Cookies
The Site uses essential cookies (cart, login session) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner (CookieYes), and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the banner or in your browser. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without breaking checkout and account functions.
6. Retention
Order and invoice data is kept for the period required by law. License and activation records are kept while the license exists and for a reasonable period afterwards for support and fraud prevention. Analytics data follows the retention settings of each provider (Google Analytics: 14 months). Support conversations are kept while you hold an active license, or until you ask us to delete them.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email us at the address on the right. We answer within 30 days.
8. International transfers
We are based in Ukraine. Our providers may process data in the European Union and the United States under their own safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Children
The Site and the Plugins are intended for business use and not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the Site.
